In order to ensure that the gameplay is enjoyable for everyone at Giveria, all players are expected to follow the rules. Breaking the rules may result in a temporary or permanent banishment of your account.

Important information about inactive characters
!Remember! Any character with rebirth 0 or 1 that does not log in for a full year will be automatically deleted after that period. Characters with higher rebirths are safe and are not affected by this cleanup.
Additional notice
We also reserve the right to temporarily or permanently ban your account for justified reasons. The best way to stay safe is to follow the rules below.

Category Rule
Bug Exploitation
 Deliberate and malicious exploitation of bugs to gain an advantage over other players is strictly forbidden. Some examples follow:
  • Server exploits
  • Intentionally causing the game to crash
  • Gold and item manipulation
If you encounter any bug, it must be reported immediately.

How to report a bug? Use Ctrl+Z ingame to open the bug report window and submit the report in the appropriate category. You can also try to contact a gamemaster ingame if you consider the bug to be critical.
Impersonating Giveria Staff
 Impersonation of Giveria Staff to intimidate or otherwise gain an advantage over other players is strictly prohibited.
Bad Character Name
 Racially offensive, sexually explicit, or profane nicknames may be reported and recommended for a name change.

It is forbidden to create a nickname similar to the Administration nickname. If you try to change your nickname to something similar to someone from the Administration, you will be banned for 7 days.
Streamers
 SNIPE STREAM on GiveriaOT:

On our server, there is some protection for the streamer, but they are NOT protected from all kills. If you meet a streamer in the game, you have the right to kill them like any other player, but we apply the rule "too much is unhealthy".

  • You can't kill the streamer all the time and not let them stream normally in order to advertise GiveriaOT. If the streamer returns to exp after being killed by you, and you interfere with them again, you have the right to receive Jail for the duration of the stream.
  • If the situation repeats on their next streams, GiveriaOT support has the right to give you Jail until the Global Save of the server.

Remember: If any of the above streamers play and like PVP, the above rules DO NOT APPLY to them!
Gameplay
 Calling on, insulting the family from the player is punishable, and it may result in blocking the account for 1 day for the first time, and 7 days next time.

Performing actions such as killing monsters or casting spells while being idle from the game is never tolerated.

On our server you can rescue characters that are unused or abandoned for a long period of time. The rescued character will come with all the items he has (in the depot, mailbox or inventory).

If you play actively more than 1 character at the same time, all your active accounts will be banned!

The term "active gaming" is understood to mean taking active part in events, pvp, boss hunting, doing tasks or any other way of gaining experience. In case of doubts regarding other activities that we have not specified, you are obliged to ask a person with the rank of GM / GOD about it. Only after a confirmation reply should you be able to proceed with this activity.

Private Exp - Deliberately blocking private exps = ban 3 days

Keep in mind that using third-party software to control at least one character while you are logged into other characters will always mean that you are idle on at least one of them, as you can not actively play on several characters at the same time. In such situations, all of the characters you are logged into are violating the rules.

Using third-party software to run gambling or "trust" games
You are not allowed to use third-party software in order to run gambling or "trust" games at the depot, we are enforcing this rule to prevent possibly modified "casino bots" taking up all the depot slots.

Exp on "Follow" is forbidden.

Any use of follow on spawn with the intent to disrupt other players or leech experience will be punished accordingly – ranging from jailperm to temporary account bans (from 1 day to 7 days).
  • Following to leech exp in a party – will result in a ban;
  • Disrupting someone’s hunt while using follow without a skull – will result in a ban or a jailperm. Disruption is only allowed through manual movement;
  • Following with a skull to kill – is allowed (but any abuse, such as following a friend with a skull just to leech exp, will be punished).
Using the bot in a way that allows you to gain experience without moving or interacting with the game (AFK) is prohibited and punishable by a ban. First Ban = 3 days, Next Time = Perm.

It is forbidden to create, use, or possess scripts that automatically move your character to a Random Reward Box and automatically click such boxes.
This applies in particular to scripts made for Zero Bot or any other third-party software. Such behavior is treated as prohibited gameplay automation and may result in a punishment from a 3 day ban up to a Perm Ban.

It is also forbidden to write, use, or commission scripts that automate gameplay through Zero Bot or similar tools.
Any form of automation that performs movement or any other in-game action for the player may result in a punishment from a 3 day ban up to a Perm Ban.

All punishments are individual and administration can assign bans individually depending on the situation.

The recorded scam on the dice in dp is banned for 7 days.

Intentional littering of Temple/DP and houses that are open to the public is prohibited and may result in a Jail or Ban 1 day.

It is the GiveriaOT Administration that decides what will happen to a character who has a Perm Ban. The server administration has the right to put such a character on the market or delete it.

Interesting note

You are allowed to use a third-party software in order to run a casino in other areas than depo, for example in a house. You should also avoid so called "trust" games, they are usually demonstrated between friends to look real, but once you trust the player with valuable items they will be stolen from you.

If you try to sell or have sold characters, items or TC to other players for real currency or for TC on RL Tibia / Other OTS, it may result in a Perm Ban.
The Administration reserves the right to suspend/ban any account if there is a reasonable suspicion or evidence of illegal trading (RMT). In such cases, the player must cooperate and provide proof that the transaction was legal (e.g. chat logs, screenshots, trade context). Failure to provide a credible explanation may result in a permanent ban.
Public Chat Channels
 Inappropriate usage of public chat channels is prohibited and may result in a punishment.

Linking Twitch/Youtube streams is allowed only on World Chat and Advertising, maximum once per 30 minutes. Only streamer himself is allowed to do this, any other person will be muted for 30 minutes. It is forbidden to advert stream in temple, doing it may result in temporary mute on global channels.

You can advert your casino once per 15 minutes, not adjusting to this rule may result in temporary mute on global channels.

Advertising:
The advertising chat may be used for three things:
  • Advertising a trade of ingame items
  • Advertising that you are selling or buying a house for ingame gold/items
  • You can advert selling a character only on Advertising channel and only when it's already set on Character Auction on server's website. Breaking this rule may result in temporary mute on all global channels, without a warning. If you got muted and your character is already set on Auction (or got placed there in meantime) you can ask for unmute.
  • Advertising is not place for conversations, breaking this rule may result in a temporary mute on global channels.
Team Search
Looking for teamhunt/mission/quest/task/boss partners is allowed only on this channel, doing it on other channels may result in temporary mute on global channels. On this channel you can also advertise quest services.

Help Channel
You are only allowed to use the help channel in order to ask/answer questions about Giveria and its gameplay. If someone from server's support sees something inappropriate in your behaviour, for example it's rude, not polite, contains curses, you may be muted without a warning.

World Chat
This is where you are free to chat about almost anything.
* It is forbidden to write ads and trade on this channel.

What is not allowed in World Chat?
  • Insulting, harassing or racist statements:
    If you have personal problems with another player, deal with it in private. Harassing a player in World Chat will only put you in trouble, even if the other player has offended you in private. If you are lucky, you might get away with a warning; if that isn't enough to make you stop it will lead to a banishment.

    It is forbidden to disseminate personal data of the GiveriaOT server administration, support or players - there is a risk of banning.
  • Sexually related statements:
    Keep in mind that there are children that play Giveria too, sexually related statements may not be suitable for them and will therefore not be tolerated in public chat channels.
  • Racism:
    Racist insults are prohibited - there is a risk of banning the account for 7 days.
